Parents are welcome to stay, if their child wishes them to, but please note for practice, parents are asked to leave, except for "helper parent" of the week.

Parents/Caregivers PLEASE READ:
The OCCC is a fun-filled, music-filled, friendship-filled choir. We have a unique community of individuals who all work as a team to produce a beautiful sound. This does not happen by a miracle. It happens with weekly rehearsal in which every singer is expected to attend and participate.

An understanding that additional rehearsals on a weekend or with our adult choir Orillia Vocal Ensemble, will occur, and these dates will be given as soon as possible, with the expectation that all are attended.

Adults will be asked to be helpers, one per week, so that our practice can run smoothly. You do not need to read music, or indeed sing, but rather be there for bathroom breaks, reminding children to listen, and being an overall cheerleader.
