Hello lovely performers! We are so pleased you and your caregivers found us! We are a performing arts program meant to instruct children in what is known as a "triple threat" skillset. Meaning you can sing, dance and act after being in our program.
Do you find yourself wondering why your child just can't sit still in class? Why they are fidgety, not listening, zoning out, etc. in school? This was my story, and if it had not been for the performing arts, I would not be in the position of successfully running local community programs such as this for over 15 years.
You will experience different teachers, and therefore have a wide variety of skillsets both in life and performing taught to you. The point of our program is to help develop a balanced individual to allow you to have confidence, to listen to all those around you, to find your voice and speak your truth.
The three of us and the teachers I will be bringing in have gone through years of schooling and life experiences to bring you a Saturday morning of fun and instructed classes.

Shelby Williams - Little & JR drama/voice
"Hi! My name is Shelby Williams and I am so excited to be joining the team. I have a love for theatre and have missed it immensely during the pandemic. Musical theatre has been such a big part of my life and it really pushed me to purse my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Ottawa. I have recently graduated from teachers' college (Lakehead University) and I am excited to get back into theatre and teaching children. I have over 12 years of experience working with children and I cannot wait to see what kind of magic we can make with our junior stars!"
Nicole Farrer - dance - All levels
My love for dance began when I was just three years old, twirling and leaping into the magical world of Ballet. Since then, dancing has filled my life with joy. I didn't stop with Ballet - I explored the enchanting realms of Jazz, the lively rhythms of Tap, the expressive beauty of Lyrical, the high-energy vibes of Hip Hop, and even the captivating world of Musical Theatre. At the young age of 13, I started to shine in dance competitions all around Ontario, earning certificates of excellence from the American Academy of Ballet along the way.
But what makes me extra special is that I discovered something I love even more than dancing myself: teaching others to dance! Passing on my passion to students who are excited to learn and twirl just like I do.
I'm bursting with excitement to bring my dance magic to the dancers at Express Yourself! Get ready for a world of fun, learning, and unforgettable dances with me!

Located in the Orillia, Midland and Barrie area, we offer classes in the performing arts. This includes drama (acting), music (vocal / singing) and dance. Putting all three forms of artistic expression together, our students (ages 4-16) experience the joy of musical theatre. Our program is open to kids of all experience and skill levels and our program is designed in a way that builds confidence for each individual student. Our students also develop excellent communication and team building skills, grow in self-esteem and enjoy the benefits of improved coordination and fitness levels. All of our students learn essential life skills that will stay with them throughout their life. Creative kids love our classes as we provide fun activities in the performing arts!
We offer summer camps which are an experience where lifelong friendships are formed, where learning about life and leadership skills are integral part of a fun musical theater camp experience. Campers experience a fun and exciting summer camp. Your child can fill their summer break with a fun musical theatre experience at our camps.
