RISING STAR - ACT 2
(AGES 9 - 11)
Saturday afternoons: 12:50 p.m. - 3:35 p.m.
Our "Rising Stars" program is filled with fun, laughter and education. Through music, dance and drama, your child will build their confidence in everyday life skills as well as in their performance abilities! They will develop skills that they will use for their entire life!
Broken into age-appropriate groups, each Rising Star student spends every week acting, singing and dancing as they participate in all three art forms.
Research has shown that studying the arts is a key to success in academics and in life. The more performing arts classes a student takes, the higher their verbal and math scores. Dramatic arts, in particular, teach children to imagine new possibilities, to work together with a team to achieve a goal, and to have the courage to stand up and be heard.
We offer a year-long program with two terms
Term 1: Discovering & Developing Our Talents
September 15 - November 24
(no classes on Thanksgiving weekend)
Term 2: Applying Our Talents & Show term
January 12 - June 22
(no classes on Easter weekend or May 24th weekend)

Tuition for term one (September - November) is $350 (+ hst)
(due at the time of registration)
Tuition for term two (January - June) is $700 (+ hst)
(due one week before January classes begin)
If yearly tuition ($1050 + hst) is paid in full at time of fall registration,
you will receive a 5% discount.

20 % SIBLING DISCOUNTS: If siblings are both registered in any of the Rising Star classes, a 20% discount will be offered on the lower fee.
Refund Policy
New students are allowed an initial trial period of the two weeks at the beginning of the 1st term. If the student withdraws at this point, session fees will be fully refunded minus classes taken. If a student is withdrawing from a class, the office must receive written/email notice before the end of the initial two weeks; otherwise no refund will be issued.
Please note:
All fees are NOT refundable after the second week of classes regardless of the circumstance. Fees will NOT be refunded for classes already taken.

Located in the Orillia, Midland and Barrie area, we offer classes in the performing arts. This includes drama (acting), music (vocal / singing) and dance. Putting all three forms of artistic expression together, our students (ages 4-16) experience the joy of musical theatre. Our program is open to kids of all experience and skill levels and our program is designed in a way that builds confidence for each individual student. Our students also develop excellent communication and team building skills, grow in self-esteem and enjoy the benefits of improved coordination and fitness levels. All of our students learn essential life skills that will stay with them throughout their life. Creative kids love our classes as we provide fun activities in the performing arts!
We offer summer camps which are an experience where lifelong friendships are formed, where learning about life and leadership skills are integral part of a fun musical theater camp experience. Campers experience a fun and exciting summer camp. Your child can fill their summer break with a fun musical theatre experience at our camps.
